The most popular rappers in today's industry would have to be artist such as The Game, Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow, Ludacris, Jim Jones, etc.... The rap music is popular down south now because new dance moves have been invented like the shoulder lean by Young dro, Lean Wit it rock Wit it by Dem Franchize Boyz, and other dance moves that are too many to be listed. Also the South is running the rap scene because of the new style of music called "Crunk Music" which could be related to rock music because it is amped up alot and gets people all pumped up and Rowdy in the club. The rappers from the ying yang twins D roc and Kain also have a new type of down south music made strictly for the clubs and it is what we call the "Stripper music". There sexual kind of style is perfect for the clubs. In 2004 Bay area legend Mac Dre was murdered but not before introducing the best style and most popular style of music out "HYPHY MUSIC". Hyphy music is high energy music created in the west coast but cant really be explained. You just have to experience it. Rapper E-40 wasnt the creater of hyphy but he put the bay on the map when he came out with the song "Tell Me When To Go" a hyphy song that got every body jumping on the bandwagon. Hyphy music makes you just go dumb retarted with out having to worry about are you doing a dance move right you just do what you do to get dumb.
